Grant Kelter represents individuals, non-profits and businesses in professional negligence, complex tort, employment and commercial litigation matters.

Grant is often called upon to describe his clients’ issues, translating complex situations into nuggets of information that can be reviewed and decided upon by judges and juries. He finds this to be a challenge as well as a motivating part of his role as a litigator. Grant has worked on litigation teams representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

Before joining Zausmer, Grant worked as in-house counsel for an energy drink company, primarily defending against false advertising cases brought by state attorneys general. He also has experience prosecuting residential mortgage-backed securities cases and previously worked as an associate at a boutique, full-service business law firm in San Diego, California.

Attending University of Michigan games, volunteering at non-profits and coaching youth lacrosse are among Grant’s hobbies outside of the office. He also enjoys kickboxing, golf and traveling with his wife.
