Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, cum laude, from Oakland University and started his legal career at a small firm focusing on property law and income tax disputes before he became a summer clerk at Zausmer. A graduate of Wayne State University Law School and Silver Key Award Recipient, Mike was a member of the AAJ National Mock Trial Team and a Wayne Law Student Ambassador. While in law school, he interned for Judge Bernard Friedman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where he conducted legal research and drafted advisory opinions on contract interpretation and employment law.
