The American Cancer Society’s mission is to put an end to cancer by raising funds for research and helping people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the United States, uniting nearly 300 communities with a shared determination to finish the fight against breast cancer. The walks take place throughout October, and participants raise critical funds that enable the American Cancer Society to continue its mission.
On October 2nd, the Zausmer family collected donations to support our walkers in this year’s local Making Strides events. It was truly a Pink Ribbon day!
So many of us have been touched by breast cancer through our own illnesses or the diagnosis of a loved one. To find a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk near you, click here.
Every other Friday, Zausmer goes “Casual for a Cause,” allowing attorneys and employees to dress down in exchange for a donation to a designated charity. A different charity is selected each time – if you have a suggestion for a worthy cause, please let us know!
