The Insurance Institute of Michigan (IIM) is a government affairs and public information association with a membership of more than 90 property and casualty insurance companies and other related Michigan organizations.
On September 15th, IIM held its 13th Annual Claims Seminar in Lansing, with a program that featured Zausmer attorneys presenting on current topics in insurance law and practice:

- Jim Wright and Bryan Padgett participated on a panel examining fraud committed by medical provider rings
- April Moore addressed whether interest payments in no-fault auto cases can trigger attorney fee awards
- Michael Schwartz advised on the impact and potential unintended consequences of the Michigan Supreme Court’s ruling in Admire v. Auto-Owners Insurance Company
