Zausmer Associate Amanda Waske gave a presentation entitled, “The Anatomy of an Appeal,” followed by a Q &A to the Polish American Legal Society (PAL), at the Polish American Café in Hamtramck on October 21, 2021.
The presentation covered an overview of both criminal and civil appellate procedure, preserving the lower court record, and best practices in appellate briefing and oral argument.
Amanda is an appellate specialist, focusing on civil appeals in both state and federal courts. She assists clients with all aspects of an appeal, including applications for leave to appeal, appellate motions, appellate briefing and oral argument, and framing issues and preserving the record in the trial court.
