Zausmer shareholder Devin Sullivan and associate Breanne Patton recently presented at the 8th annual Country Road Associated Legal Issues Symposium on December 6, 2022.
This symposium covered two important topics in county transportation law: the latest in labor and employment law and condemnation best practices.
Devin and Breanne’s presentation, “All’s Fair in Love and Condemnation?” explained the do’s, don’ts, and best practices for condemnation. They covered how to handle acquisitions to put road associations in the best position in the event they need to move to condemnation. They also spoke about the best ways to avoid problems when filing condemnation actions and what to expect when litigating a project.
