Skilled in oral and written advocacy, Abbes Awada works hard to defend his insurance clients. He strives to bring forth the truth and finds excitement in diving deep into the facts of each of his cases.

Growing up, Abbes witnessed the struggles that his Lebanese immigrant father had as a small business owner, particularly in finding legal advice. Aspiring to help others in his community, Abbes decided to become an attorney. He graduated from the University of Toledo, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Abbes then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2011.

Prior to coming to Zausmer, Abbes worked at a mid-size defense firm, where he gained expertise arguing motions and case evaluations and conducting depositions for large dockets of no-fault and bodily injury cases. In addition, Abbes has extensive experience as a criminal defense attorney, defending clients on felony and misdemeanor offenses.

When he is not working, Abbes enjoys traveling internationally with his wife and cooking. As an avid sports fan, he enjoys rooting for his favorite teams.
