Bryan Padgett Appointed to Macomb County Ethics Board

Zausmer shareholder Bryan Padgett has been appointed to the Macomb County Ethics Board, where he will serve through January 2029.

Bryan Padgett, a lifelong Macomb County resident, was nominated and confirmed by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners to fill a vacancy on the Macomb County Ethics Board. Bryan has a strong foundation in civil litigation and a longstanding commitment to ethical practice—qualities that align closely with the responsibilities of the Ethics Board. He represents clients in high-exposure tort and insurance defense matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, and complex liability claims. Known for his strategic mindset and courtroom presence, Bryan brings a balanced, principled perspective to this new role.

Bryan’s legal training and analytical skills will support the Board’s mission of promoting independence, impartiality, and fairness in county government to help strengthen public trust.

Beyond the courtroom, Bryan serves as President-Elect of the Kiwanis Club of Utica-Shelby Township and is currently participating in Leadership Macomb. He has also previously contributed to the legal profession as an adjunct professor at Detroit Mercy Law, teaching Advanced Advocacy.

Bryan’s appointment reflects his dedication to public service and principled leadership. We congratulate him and look forward to the insight and integrity he will bring to the Board.
