Each year, DBusiness Magazine publishes its list of “Top Lawyers,” a collection of the most accomplished, highly regarded attorneys in Southeastern Michigan.
We are pleased to announce that Zausmer shareholder Mischa Boardman is among the honorees for 2018.
The magazine editors’ annual selection process is extensive. DBusiness polls more than 19,000 lawyers in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties for peer reviews of worthy candidates in 48 separate areas of practice.
Mischa has spent the entirety of her legal career at Zausmer, starting as an associate after graduating from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000. During that time, she has assumed key responsibilities in client matters, professional groups, service organizations, and within the firm. For example, she has a lead role on the land acquisition team for ITC Holdings, helping the company secure rights to thousands of properties necessary for its transmission projects, experience that has resulted in speaking engagements and committee involvement with the International Right of Way Association. She has served on panels at women’s networking events, is a charter member of the MSU College of Social Science Consortium on Female Leadership, has performed pro bono work for Weiss Child Advocacy Center of Flint, and was a member of the Host Committee for City Year Detroit’s 2016 Women’s Leadership Breakfast. She also spearheads the firm’s marketing efforts.
In addition to her place among DBusiness’s 2018 Top Lawyers, Mischa has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer and a Michigan Top Lawyer. In 2015, she was named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly
