Many of the firm’s clients and friends know and respect Cam Getto for his skills in the courtroom, but they may not know that he is equally talented behind the camera.
The Detroit Legal News recently featured Cam and his work in “The LAW and the LENS,” detailing how he followed his father into the practice of law and the art of photography, making a name of himself in both arenas.
Cam’s litigation docket takes him across Michigan, which he believes “is one of the visually richest states” in the U.S. “Many of my shots were taken on the way to or back from court or some other event in the course of a case,” he says. “I keep my camera bag in the car, so it’s always with me. I always have my iPhone with me as well.” A number of his pictures of the McKay Building in Grand Rapids were included in a portfolio he entered in the 2014 ArtPrize exhibit.
