Because of their extensive experience handling eminent domain matters, Zausmer shareholder Mischa Boardman and associate Devin Sullivan have become recognized authorities within the International Right of Way Association (IRWA), an industry group comprised of real estate professionals who acquire, manage, and transfer the land rights necessary for building and maintaining public improvements, including energy and transportation infrastructure.
In the past week, Mischa and Devin spoke at two IRWA events:
- On May 2nd, Mischa and Devin delivered a program on “Adverse Possession & Prescriptive Easements” to the IRWA’s Michigan Chapter in Ann Arbor.
- On April 28th, they appeared at the IRWA’s 2nd Annual International Electric & Utility Symposium in Chicago, giving a presentation on “Easement Drafting Nuts & Bolts: How to Draft Utility Easements Ahead of Time to Ensure a Successful Project.”
Mischa, Devin, and the other attorneys in Zausmer’s eminent domain practice group are among the most highly regarded and respected lawyers in the field, and have successfully represented municipalities, government agencies, utilities, and private corporations in complex transactions and litigation across Michigan.
