Zausmer shareholders Mischa Boardman and Devin Sullivan traveled to Edmonton to speak at two sessions of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) educational conference on June 25-27, 2018.
Their first presentation—Learn to Love Your Lawyers—kicked off the event and grew from their recent article in Right of Way Magazine on how to effectively integrate lawyers into a project team.
They offered tips for project managers to use to build buy-in from other team members who may not understand the value that lawyers bring to the table. Their second program—Easement Drafting Nuts and Bolts—provided a comprehensive look at what to do and what not to do when drafting utility easements.
