Courtney Fall is a knowledgeable attorney in the firm’s Insurance Defense group focusing his practice on first-party personal injury protection matters and third-party
negligence litigation.

Courtney has experience in all aspects of litigation and strives to be a diligent, educated advocate for his clients.

Before coming to Zausmer, Courtney served as counsel for various school districts throughout Michigan, focusing his practice on education, labor, and employment law. After deciding to focus on litigation, he moved to a mid-size defense firm, where he maintained a caseload of first- and third-party automobile defense litigation matters while providing exceptional representation to his clients in both district and circuit courts.

Courtney received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Hope College. There, he was the Men’s Ice Hockey Team Captain and an ACHA Division III Academic All-American. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, Courtney was on the Dean’s List each semester, served as an Associate Editor of the Michigan State Law Review, was a student advocate in the school’s low-income housing clinic, worked as a teaching assistant for Research, Writing & Analysis and Advocacy courses, and won the Jurisprudence Award for Advocacy.

Outside of the office, Courtney enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, as well as traveling, sports, and following the Detroit Red Wings.
