As part of Zausmer’s insurance defense team, Emily handles a broad range of matters. With a foundation in pre-law from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Wayne State University, Emily has a natural talent for identifying viable defenses and presenting them in compelling, straightforward terms. Her early experience in plaintiff-side personal injury sharpened her eye for critical details in medical records—insights she now applies to support clients in challenging cases.

In her free time, Emily is training to compete in her first triathlon. She enjoys traveling to mountain destinations, including Banff National Park and the Smoky Mountains.
