Jalese DeBiasi is passionate about many parts of her life, including her family, her competitive sports activities, and her legal practice as a member of the Business & Commercial Litigation and Insurance Defense groups at Zausmer.
During law school, Jalese clerked for a Detroit law firm, working on a variety of matters including insurance coverage, medical malpractice and first- and third-party auto claims. She then joined a law firm as an associate, defending clients in criminal matters and handling a variety of civil matters.
Jalese went on to become an assistant prosecutor for Wayne County, sharpening her skills as a courtroom prosecutor in the General Trials Division. As a prosecutor, she obtained over 20 guilty verdicts in less than two years, while gaining invaluable trial experience. Jalese’s stint as a prosecutor also allowed her to strengthen her research and writing, discovery, motion practice and litigation talents. Jalese is comfortable in the courtroom and effective when advocating for clients involving a wide variety of issues.
