Josh began his legal career in Chicago, first as in-house counsel for a fine art gallery and later as the sole associate in a busy personal injury firm where he quickly honed his written and oral advocacy talents and developed his investigative and medical records review skills. Josh then moved back to Michigan, continuing his career with a business transactions and estate planning practice in Traverse City before joining a small Detroit-area insurance defense firm that represented Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART). In addition to handling discovery, Josh successfully argued Bahri and other summary disposition motions and obtained substantial no-cause trial verdicts, saving SMART and other clients millions of dollars in fraudulent claims.

Outside the office, Josh is a devoted family man and a member of the local council of the Knights of Columbus at his parish, National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak.
