As an associate in the Insurance Defense group, Laura Phillips uses her research, writing, and investigative skills to uncover the truth, challenge false claims, and deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College and a Master of Arts in Russian and East European Area Studies from Indiana University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and supplemented her classroom education with externships in the Cuyahoga County Law Department and Cuyahoga County Witness Victim Service Center. These extracurricular opportunities helped her to hone her written advocacy and allowed her to appear in court as a student attorney, interact with clients, and prepare witnesses for examination at trial.
