Prior to working for Zausmer, Talitha honed her litigation skills on both Plaintiff and Defendant sides of the table. After two internships, she worked as a Project Consultant in several positions for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office before working her way up to the position of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney II, where she represented the interest of the People by prosecuting a variety of felony cases including those involving assaults, drug violations, embezzlement, forgery, home invasion, retail fraud, robbery, theft, and countless other infractions. Talitha then worked at a small firm where she litigated personal injury claims resulting from motor vehicle accidents against insurance companies. Throughout her career, she has managed a large docket of cases allowing her to gain extensive experience from inception to trial, including evidentiary and motion hearings, plea offers, depositions, case evaluations, and settlement negotiations.

Having parents who were in the military, Talitha has moved around the United States her entire life, and lived in Germany for 3 years, but since living in Michigan for the last 19 years, she considers the mitten her home. Talitha graduated magna cum laude from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Science and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law. She is an active member of her church and loves being a part of their community outreach program that makes and delivers sack lunches to the downtown Detroit area. In her downtime, she enjoys the outdoors and camping with her husband and daughter, Cheyenne, who was named after the city where she was born.
