More than a dozen Zausmer attorneys recently joined together to pack lunches for the homeless in Detroit.
Known as Hashtag Lunchbag, the all-volunteer effort provides brown bag lunches for homeless people across the city.
Volunteers created an assembly line, building sandwiches and adding other items to brown bags, while a DJ provided entertainment. They also wrote messages of encouragement on over 1,000 bags that were taken to locations around Detroit. To date, Hashtag Lunchbag events like this one have fed more than 20,000 people in cities across the U.S. and Canada!
