Zausmer has expanded its insurance practice with the addition of Shareholder Stephanie Strycharz and three accomplished attorneys, strengthening our insurance practice. Attorneys Stephanie Strycharz, Christopher Best, Irene Byars, and John Sechler bring a wealth of experience and proven track records in trial advocacy, Michigan no-fault law, and complex litigation.

Stephanie Strycharz, who joins as a shareholder, is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience defending major insurers and their insureds in first- and third-party claims. She is recognized for her innovative approach to insurance law, particularly in transportation cases and high-stakes litigation.
Christopher Best, joining as an associate, focuses his practice on first- and third-party insurance defense, insurance coverage, and litigation. Known for his strategic thinking and effective advocacy, Chris has a deep understanding of Michigan’s no-fault law and has consistently secured favorable verdicts in complex cases.
Irene Byars, also joining as an associate, specializes in Michigan no-fault, auto negligence, and insurance coverage disputes. Her strong case management skills enable her to handle complex matters from start to finish, ensuring effective outcomes for her clients.
