Zausmer, P.C. is proud to announce that attorneys Daniel Jedell, Kristina Macionski, Christopher Merritt, and Elizabeta Rumery have been promoted to shareholders.

Daniel I. Jedell represents individuals and businesses in professional negligence, fire and explosion, premises liability, complex tort, and commercial litigation matters, both at trial and on appeal. He handles serious cases that often hinge on complex medical, engineering, and scientific subjects, and frequently involve excess exposure. Dan’s reputation for tenacious advocacy and strong work ethic has earned him repeat honors as a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2015. Dan earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
Kristina M. Macionski is a skilled litigator in the firm’s Insurance Defense practice. She regularly demonstrates her advocacy talents in the courtroom, and successfully manages a busy docket of first-party PIP, third-party automobile negligence, premises liability, and property loss cases. Kristina has gained a reputation for delving into novel and complex questions of law to deliver impressive results on appeal. Kristina received her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and earned her Juris Doctor at MSU College of Law.
Christopher A. Merritt is a talented litigator and counselor with a broad practice in business and commercial litigation, employment and labor, and environmental matters. His experience includes providing cost-effective representation to corporations, municipalities, lenders, schools, and individuals in a variety of complex litigation matters involving business disputes, breach of contract, professional liability, employment matters, and other commercial disputes. After earning his undergraduate degree with honors from Michigan State Univeristy, Chris attended law school at Michigan State University College of Law, where he graduated in the top three percent of his class.
Elizabeta Rumery is a member of the firm’s Insurance Coverage and Insurance Defense practice groups. She handles a busy docket of no-fault automobile cases, representing insurers and their insureds in all stages of litigation. Liz is particularly effective with motions for summary disposition and summary judgment, boasting an impressive track record for convincing judges to dismiss claims made against her clients. In 2015, she was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Liz earned her undergraduate and law degrees from Michigan State University.
